Light-driven landscapes — quiet studies of atmosphere, form, and place

My travel and landscape work explores the relationship between place and experience — from national parks to quiet back roads and coastal overlooks. I’m drawn to natural light, shifting atmosphere, and the small moments of absolute presence that make us feel connected to a location. You’ll never meet someone as enthusiastic to wake up before sunrise to get the shot.

These images are collected from assignments, road trips, and years of storytelling through Escape Brooklyn and Escape LA.

Locations include Big Sur, Big Bend, Joshua Tree, Upstate New York, Anza Borrego Desert, Kernville, Víkurfjara, Death Valley, Moab, Monument Valley, Bombay Beach, California’s Lost Coast, Newfoundland and Labrador.
